2024 Final Concert

The final concert of the Music section of the 2024 North London Festival of Music Speech & Drama was held on Friday 10 May 2024 at the Free Church in Hampstead Garden Suburb, London.

Molly plays “Mary had a little lamb inside the piano” by Michael Harvey which started the final concert of the 2024 North London Festival of Music, Speech & Drama
Max plays Elgar’s Salut d’Amour Op. 12
Ziewei plays Chopin’s Scherzo No 2 in B flat minor
Celia plays the Trumpet in Tequila Sunrise
Raiya & Nyla play the second movement of Bach’s Concerto for 2 Violins in D minor
Felicity plays movements from Bach’s Suite for Lute on the guitar
Larry plays Chopin’s Ballade No.3 in Ab major, Op.47
Adela and Agatha play the second movement of York Bowen’s piano duet Op 52
Rebecca (Vn), Isabella (Vn), Tifany (Va) and Ella (Vc) play “Devotion” from “A Quartet for What We Give”. This piece won the prize of “Festival Best Composer” for Adi Shapiro who wrote the piece.
Hedi plays Lecuona’s “Malaguena”
Aki plays Büsser’s Appassionato Op.34 on the viola to end the final concert of 2024 North London Festival of Music, Speech & Drama.

After the performances, prizes were presented by the Minister of the Free Church and refreshments were served. Come next year and hear a free concert of very talented young musicians giving a very enjoyable concert.
