Choir Section
The Choir competitions are designed to showcase groups singing together. Some classes are for live performance in person and others are online via video submission. All choirs from the UK or Ireland are welcome and every choir will receive a written adjudication sheet and a certificate of participation.

Stephen Hill
Stephen was born and educated in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, initially training in Law but then studied singing at the Royal College of Music making his South Bank debut with a performance of Bach’s MATTHEW PASSION at the Royal Festival Hall conducted by Sir David Willcocks.
His West End theatre credits includes the original London cast of SWEENEY TODD at Drury Lane, JEEVES TAKES CHARGE at the Fortune Theatre and CATS at the New London Theatre where he has been Vocal Supervisor for 12 years He directed his vocal group THE STEPHEN HILL SINGERS making frequent recordings for radio, TV and films including Kenneth Branagh’s blockbuster HENRY V. and CITY OF JOY (with Patrick Swayze). They also recorded the RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL CHRISTMAS ALBUM for Sony and appeared in the Victoria Wood AS SEEN ON TV series and were invited to appear at the HMQ90 celebrations at Windsor Castle.
Much in demand as a vocal coach, director and arranger, Stephen was Choral Director of the Musical Theatre Degree Course at the Royal Academy of Music and Choral Director for Elton John’s concerts at the Royal Opera House, UK Tours and sell-out performances at New York’s Radio City Music Hall plus the finale segment of CONCERT FOR DIANA live from Wembley.
He has adjudicated at many festivals including Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod and coached performers at GSA. Mountview, London College of Music, University of Wales (WAVDA) and Momentum Performing Arts Academy.
